What shipping method do you use?
We use the United States Postal Service First Class and Priority Mail.
Can I track my package?
Yes. All Packages shipped within the United States automatically have tracking added at no additional cost to you.
I feel the shipping fee is too much for what won. Can I pay a lower amount for shipping?
Sorry but no. We clearly state our shipping costs on every auction. In fact if you win multiple auctions (in most cases) we do not raise our shipping price. Whether you win one or 200 cds, tapes, autographs, etc... you only pay the original shipping price (unless the auction states otherwise), even if we take a loss. We never have any hidden fees or surprise additional costs that we inform you of after the auction closes. If special packing material is required to send your item (such as an album mailer) it is already included as part of the quoted shipping cost. If you do not agree with our shipping costs please do not bid on our auctions. Please note the cost of overseas shipments will be higher than the stated auction shipping quote.
I want to take advantage of the flat shipping fee you offer and I will be watching and bidding on next week's auctions and probably the weeks after that. How long can I keep bidding before I have to pay?
We encourage you to take full advantage of our shipping policy. Feel free to bid for the next few weeks / months / years.... and build up a huge stack of items if you wish. However we do ask that you pay us within a month of the auction closing, but please email us to let us know why there is a delay. If you plan to continue bidding after you make a payment we will happily hold your items for as long as you like before we send them out. By paying for auctions you have won then we know you have the best of intentions and you know that we will not relist your items. Please keep in mind that the savings on the shipping only applies per shipment. If you are still bidding on auctions but you want what you have already won shipped then the flat fee only applies to that one shipment. The next batch of Cds you win will have a separate shipping charge.
I have won multiple auctions but I don't know how to combine my Paypal payment. How do I pay for all of these?
Just click on one auction you have to pay for then change the total to the added up total of all the auctions you won. Then enter the shipping cost. We have no problem locating multiple wins and making sure they get shipped together. If ever we do make a mistake and over look one of your auctions (hasn't happened yet) just let us know. We will send it out to you at no extra cost.
I won an auction but I also went to your online store and found some things there I would like to buy. Can I pay for them all together and save on shipping?
Absolutely! Go ahead and place your order in our store through our secure server and in the comments area of the order form let us know what auctions you also won (please include item numbers and Ebay I.D.). We will add on your auction/s total to the store total and charge it all together. If you would prefer to pay with Paypal or a Money Order just email us and let us know what you want to buy on the site. We will send you a total and you can pay for it all together.
I accidentally overpaid or double paid for an auction I won? Can I get a refund?
Of course you can. This happens often and usually we catch it before you do. If we see an error we will automatically issue you your refund and email you to let you know. If you notice it first just email us and we will take care of it immediately
I need additional information about the item I won before I pay.
Questions about items we have up for auction are welcomed and we will answer them as soon and as thoroughly as we can but questions should be asked BEFORE the auction closes. Once the auction is closed you have already agreed to buy the item. We take our time to include a lot of information about the item/s you are bidding on including any damage or faults it may have. We never try to misrepresent anything we put up for auction and our over 1000 happy (and many repeat) customers verify that. However if you are unhappy with an item you won once it arrives please do contact us. We will do everything we can to make things right.
How do I know that the autographs you sell are authentic?
We have been dealing with autographs for over 7 years. We carefully check out all items before we buy them and then recheck them for authenticity before we offer then up for sale. If ever we purchase or are considering to purchase an autograph that has an "ify" signature we send it on to friends and colleagues of ours that also collect autographs. They reevaluate it and let us know what they feel. That way we can help insure that what we have is the real deal. We are happy to provide you a Certificate of Authenticity with your autograph (at no extra fee) and we stand behind what we sell. If you are not pleased with the autograph or feel it is not legitimate we will take it back and issue you a refund.
When will I get my Feedback?
We do a large volume every week on ebay and do our best to leave feedback in a timely manner. However sometimes it takes a week or two for us to get around to it. We try to make certain everyone gets feedback so please be patient with us. If you feel we may have overlooked you go ahead and email us. If you do so please include both your ebay name and the auction number. This way we can more quickly find the auction to leave you your feedback.
Why is there candy in with my order?
Just a little Lagniappe. It's our way of saying thank you. Sometimes the perks vary...you may get free beads at Mardi Gras time or other goodies. Enjoy! Occasionally you will not get candy or other extras. This is may be due to the nature of the item you won...I don't usually pack candy with autographs (don't want to accidentally ruin the item), sometimes a package gets overlooked and sometimes I do run out of goodies. For those that didn't get their treat I apologize.
I just payed for the auction/s I won. When will it/they ship?
We ship once a week (twice if we have a large volume)Normally your package will ship out within 3 days of payment. The exceptions would be:
-if you paid by check or Echeck (it has to clear before shipping)
-if you paid just before or over the weekend (no USPS drop-offs are made on Saturdays and Sundays)
-you paid before or on a holiday (no USPS drop-offs on holidays)
-I'm sick (If I'm puking I don't think you or I want me packaging up your item)
I paid for my item over a week ago but it hasn't arrived yet!
By all means let us know. Often we can figure out where it is and what is going on with it. There are a few reasons your package may be delayed:
-if you sent payment by mail it may have been delayed. Mail coming into New Orleans is unusually slow...I don't know why.
-If you sent a check or paid by Echeck there is a waiting period to make sure it clears.
-You did not include a shipping address or the auction description with your mailed payment. Please please be sure to print your address clearly on a note INSIDE the envelope along with the auction number. Many people send payment and either we have no idea what they are paying for and/or we have no idea where to mail it. We have a closed and paid for auction right now that has been sitting here for months. The return address on the outside of the envelope is illegible and although we know what auction the payment was for we have not gotten a reply from the winner even though we have sent numerous emails requesting the shipping information.
If none of these "exceptions" apply to you then we go on to the next step. We can track it for you and provide you a tracking number.
My item arrived damaged. Can I get a refund?
If you purchased insurance we will arrange for a refund or replacement to be issued as soon as possible. Be sure to save all packing materials if an item was damaged as the post office may want to see it before a refund can be issued. If you chose not to purchase insurance then we cannot issue a refund or replacement. We strongly recommend you take advantage of the insurance option. It is a low cost way to protect your investment and avoid stress.

What method do you use to ship overseas?
We use United States Mail to ship overseas and have done so for years with great success and reliability. We strongly suggest that certain items be upgraded to Priority or Express (such as guitar strings and autographs) for the added tracking and insurance.
I live overseas. About how much will shipping cost?
One CD will cost $6.50. Multiple CDs may cost more to ship overseas, please inquire. If you have bid on and won multiple Cds and wish to keep your shipping costs low we recommend requesting that they be sent without the plastic cases. Removing the cases removes the bulk of the weight and saves you money. We will remove all paperwork from the case and include it with your CDs. Other items can greatly vary in prive depending on the contry it's going to. We do all we cam to keep shipping costs low. Most auctions clearly state the shipping cost. If not, upon request we will be happy to provide you with the shipping costs of multiple methods of shipping along with approximate transit time information and you can choose the method you prefer.
I don't want to have to pay customs fees on the items I won. Will you mark the customs form as "Gift"?
I'm sorry but we cannot do that. To purposely mismark or under value a shipment constitutes mail fraud and puts us and our business in jeopardy. Please don't ask us to break the law.
What methods of payment do you accept?
Pretty much all of them. We accept Paypal, checks, Echecks, money orders and all major credit cards. If you would like to place your purchase with a credit card email us to let us know and we will set you up a page on our secure Internet Store http://thejukejoint.com to make your payment. If you are a regular Ebay buyer we are also willing to keep your credit card on hard file to save you the hassle of having to fill out the order form every time you make a purchase. With this method all you have to do is email us to let us know you are ready to pay for your auctions. We will then email you your total, charge your card and send you your receipt in with your purchase.
I'm skeptical about buying on Ebay. I have heard some horror stories and don't want to get ripped off.
Unfortunately Ebay has some unethical people that will rip you off. Those sorts are the exception and not the rule. We have been the victim of an Ebay scam artist and learned a valuable lesson. We highly recommend that you always check out a seller's feedback before bidding. If you are still skeptical then pick a few random customers from the feedback list and email them to ask for their opinion about the seller. We have many repeat buyers and always do our best to make everyone happy.
You obviously have a lot of CDs to sell. I'm looking for a CD by Joe Blow the jazz great. Do you have it?
As much as we would like to help you the fact is that we have boxes full of CDs in storage. We have no idea what is in the boxes and each week we simply pull out whatever CDs are next in line to get auctioned. Trying to find one particular title in all of that would be a huge job. Especially if we don't have it. All we can do is recommend that you bookmark our "About Me" page where our weekly auctions are listed and keep checking back.
